The Brief

The Balmain Tigers wanted to re-position their club as Sydney’s premier entertainment destination. The Tigers needed an online marketing solution that would allow them to showcase their modern facilities and send marketing material to members and guests. A section called “My Club” would allow members to login and have a value-added membership.

The Ideas

Sharkey Media believed the best way to position Tigers as an exclusive entertainment facility was to use detailed web design and integrate high quality photography and video. Working with Tigers marketing, Sharkey Media developed a digital marketing strategy that allows Tigers to utilise email marketing and search engine optimisation to generate interest in the club’s facilities. The My Club facility allows Tigers to market directly to members, adding value to their membership offering.

The Execution

Execution is everything. Sharkey Media worked closely with Tigers to develop a design that represented the club’s past and future direction, positioning the club as an entertainment destination. Sharkey Media organised photography and a video shoot as part of the project allowing visitors to “experience” the club through high quality video virtual tours.
